Thousands of soldiers die each year across the world for various reasons. Many of them come back to their respective countries in crates but others are buried right where they die, depending on their customs.

For many US soldiers, they are flown home. Some airlines, including Delta, arrange for a short but meaningful ceremony to honor the fallen soldier.

In this video, a soldier and his K9 were flown by Delta Airlines. The baggage crew led the honors ceremony, saluting the valiant soldier and his loyal dog.

It was both heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time. Heartbreaking because the two had died in battle yet wonderful that there are still people who would willingly risk their lives for freedom. Moreover, it was great that the airline made sure their services would not go unnoticed.
