When an airplane was stalled for over an hour because of emergency maintenance concerns, the passengers were naturally bored and anxious.

It soon became apparent that they won’t be taking off for some time. Four old men decided it was time to entertain the other passengers. They burst into a song that soon had the other passengers smiling.

Many whipped out their phones to record the impromptu performance, including flight attendant Kari Mann who shared the video on YouTube.

It turns out these four men were a barbershop quartet called Port City Sound. This quartet has won the Senior Quartet Championship for Maine and New Jersey, says the San Francisco Globe. So, the passengers were in for a treat.

The quartet is comprised of Jim Curtis, Jim Simpson, Walt Dowling, and Fred Moore. Watch their awesome impromptu song performance here:
