Weeks after the series of United Airlines incidents, another airline is in hot water over a similar situation.
A passenger on American Airlines flight 591 from San Francisco to Dallas, Surain Adyanthaya, shared on his Facebook page a video which he said was taken right after a flight attendant hit a mother who could be seen crying in the clip.
“OMG! AA Flight attendant violently took a stroller from a lady with her baby on my flight, hitting her and just missing the baby. Then he tried to fight a passenger who stood up for her. AA591 from SFO to DFW,” Adyanthaya wrote.
The incident was not shown on the video but the mother could be seen crying hard after she was allegedly hit by the flight attendant.
“Just give me back my stroller, please,” she was heard saying in between tears.
Fight with a Male Passenger
Angry over the incident, another passenger stood up and told the flight attendant, “Hey bud, hey bud. You do that to me, and I’ll knock you flat!”
“Hit me, hit me … bring it on,” the flight attendant taunted the passenger. After a while, he told the man, “You don’t know what the story is.”
To this, the passenger replied, “I don’t care what the story is. You almost hit a baby!”
The man only calmed down and returned to his seat when the pilot made the offending flight attendant go out while a lady flight attendant told him it was an accident. His wife could also be heard pleading for him to sit down.
Still fuming, the passenger told the flight attendant he wished someone had videotaped the altercation so his face would be all over the news, not knowing that Adyanthaya had been doing it for some time.
