Kindhearted Boy Asks Mom to Pack Extra Lunch for His Poor Classmate Everyday

Josette Duran was preparing food for her son’s lunch one day when the boy quietly requested that she give him twice the amount of food she would usually give him.

At first, Josette was worried that Dylan was not getting enough food in school but was surprised when he told her that the extra food wasn’t for him but for another boy in school who didn’t have money for lunch and often eats just a cup of fruit.

Dylan: Mama can you make me TWO lunches today?
Me: Are you not getting full boo?
Dyl: Yes Mom its for this boy. He only…

Every day since then, Josette gives Dylan two packed lunches for him and his friend to enjoy.

It turned out that the boy’s single mom was out of a job so she couldn’t afford to give the boy lunch money or pack him a lot of food.

Josette would later reveal that she and Dylan had gone through the same thing as they were homeless in the past and had to sleep in the car. She said that at the time, she would just bathe him in bathrooms in various establishments. So, she said she knows just what this other mom is going through and, thus, was more than ready to help out now that she and Dylan are doing much better.

Weeks later, the boy’s mom finally got a job and tried to pay Josette back. The other mom cried, telling Josette that she was thankful that another mom had fed her boy but now that she already has a job, she wants to pay.

Josette didn’t want to accept the money because she didn’t feel that the boy and his mom were indebted to her but when the other mom insisted, she eventually accepted the cash but quickly went to the school cafeteria and used the money to pay off for everyone’s debt, saying that no kid in that school should ever worry about getting lunch again.
