Loving Husband Prepares a Year’s Worth of Dinners for Wife While He’s Stationed Away From Home
“The real act of marriage takes place in the heart, not in the ballroom or church or synagogue. It’s a choice you make – not just on your wedding day, but over and over again – and that choice is reflected in the way you treat your husband or wife.” –Barbara de Angelis
A loving and devoted (not to mention super sweet) husband has prepared and cooked his wife 12 months worth of dinners, to keep her going while he’s stationed far away from home. Yin Yunfeng is a fighter for the Chinese armed force. That means he gets stationed away from home most of the time and in that capacity, he just sees his wife, Zhao Mai, once a year.
Zhao Mai works as a teacher in the city of Anshui in China’s Guizhou province, she was often too busy with work that she sometimes, she didn’t have time to cook herself dinner. On a recent visit home, Yin Yunfeng was sad and pained to see his wife struggling, so he decided to take matters in his own hands. Can you guess what he did?
The sweet and loving husband cooked his wife 12 months worth of dinners!
The dinners he prepared included more than 1,000 dumplings, 150 liters of his wife’s most loved noodle soup and many other more, which he then stored in their refrigerator and refrigerators of close-by relatives and loved ones. He also added a note: ‘You’re so centered around your work and have such a great amount to peruse when you return home that I need to make life less demanding for you.’That’s not all. Yin Yunfeng’s loving and touching gestures didn’t end there.
He also added various sweet treats and stashed (well, more of hid it) the treats around the house, all of these with affection notes, which he vowed to uncover to his wife through telephone calls and letters, to help brighten and perk her up on the off chance that she was feeling down or lonely.
Look at this! For her first treat at home, Yin Yunfeng wrote: ‘Here is your first surprise. You can find a bag of raisins at the back of the sofa in the living room.’
Isn’t he the sweetest?
