The images below are pictures of Gabriel Dawe’s Plexus no. 35. It is a rainbow art installation that is currently gracing Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio.
At this point you probably start wondering what it is. Is it a hologram? Is it an effect caused by light refractions in the glass above it? You probably guessed it wrong unless you know Gabriel Dawe.
Gabriel is a Mexican-born artist known for his ‘installation’ art using multicolor threads. Yes, that is right. This art is just an installation of thousands of threads that creates an illusion of actual rainbows created from light beams.
However, this art is only at the Toledo Museum of Art for a limited time. It will only be on display until January 22, 2017.
The art is simply majestic and people who have seen it claims that these pictures simply do not do justice on how captivating it is. You might want to check it out while it is still there.
