Weddings are known to be emotional, with a lot of people crying during the event – oftentimes either the bride or the groom and their respective parents.

During the wedding of Jennifer Darmon and Mike Belawetz, it was not just the bride and groom plus their respective parents who were teary-eyed when the bride walked down the aisle. Everyone was! The reason? Truly tear-jerking and inspiration.

Three years before the wedding, Jennifer met a car accident which resulted in a spine injury that affected motor movement on her legs. In short, she could not walk after the accident. Boyfriend Mike did not leave her side. Some years later, he proposed to her.

Determined to walk down the aisle, Jennifer began grueling physical therapy sessions to restore movement on her legs, even for just a few meters. Mike was very supportive, driving three hours just to spend time with her in the rehab facility.

During the wedding, you’ll be amazed at Jennifer’s progress – she even managed to dance with her groom! Wonderful.
