This Family’s Three Kids Died in an Accident…But a Miracle Happens a Year Later
The Coble family suffered a tragic accident which claimed the lives of all their three kids. It was even more tragic because it happened during a particularly happy day.
Mother Lori and Grandma Cindy had taken the kids out to have fun at a theme park and petting zoo. It was the birthday of the oldest child in the family, Kyle. The 5-year-old had lots of fun, especially on the Ferris wheel.
His two sisters, 4-year-old Emma and 2-year-old Katie, also had a great time.
Then, during a traffic stop, something unexpected happened. While Lori was tickling Katie’s feet, a truck barreled towards their SUV, hitting the vehicle so hard that the adults were knocked out immediately on impact.
The kids who were at the back seat were badly injured. When their father, Chris, finally arrived at the hospital after he was informed of the accident, the little girls were already dead.
Kyle fought hard for his life but he was so badly injured that only the machines kept him alive. The parents just had to let him go. He died with his dad’s arm lovingly holding his chest.
At the funeral, the couple vowed not to take their own lives despite the pain they are feeling with the tragic loss of all their kids. They described themselves as “parents without kids” but feel hurt each time they hear the laughter of the many kids in their neighborhood. During Halloween, they went out of time just to spare themselves of the sight of the kids having fun while going from house to house.
However, they soon realized that they also wanted to listen to a child’s laughter once again, a child in their own home. With artificial insemination, Lori got pregnant again. Though the couple had only wished for one baby, they had three! The result of the insemination was a boy and two girls…much like the kids who died.
The couple felt happy again when the triplets were born. Still, pictures of the three older kids continue to hang in the house. The couple would also bring the triplets to visit the older kids’ graves because they wanted to make sure Kyle, Emma, and little Katie would never be forgotten.
