This Graduate Posts a Heartwarming Message to Honor Parents Who Sold Burgers and Streetfood to Send Her to Private School

Time and again there are sweet stories of success that inspire us all to work hard to reach our dreams, no matter how difficult life might seem in our current situation.

Take for example this social media user named Love Ramos (Diwata) who shared a heartwarming message on Facebook to honor her parents who sold burgers and streetfood so they could send her to private school.

She recently graduated with an honor of “Dean’s Lister” from the Lyceum of the Philippines in Muntinlupa, Philippines.

In a loving post on Facebook, she thanks her parents for working extra hard to send her to school. She revealed that it was her mom who would cook burgers, graham balls, and siomai which her father would then peddle in their town. Her dad would not go home until all his goods were sold out, even if that meant selling late into the night.

Aside from thanking her parents, Ramos also thanked her mentors, churchmates, and relatives who never wavered in their support throughout her studies.

She now vows to find a job so she could buy her parents a house and to bring them to vacations just as she had promised.

Good luck!
