His girlfriend was the first to tell him it was the stupidest business idea she has ever heard of – yet 24-year-old Alex Craig did not listen to her and went on to start a “stupid” but rather lucrative business that quickly took the internet by storm.

Within just a day of launching PotatoParcel.com, the business received $2,000 worth of orders. Three months later, the site receives so many orders per day that Craig is now earning as much as $10,000 a month because of his “stupid” potato idea! The business even has several copycats now that it has gone viral.

It is amazing how this silly idea became something that would make Craig and his girlfriend rich!

The business was a boom especially because people love to play pranks with one another – and sending an anonymous potato parcel with your funny message is clearly a great prank.
