Here’s a reminder to all car owners: always check inside your vehicle before leaving – because you’ll never know what you might have left behind and it could save your valuables or even a person’s (or pet’s) life!
In Kulai, Johor in Malaysia, a 1-year-old baby died after being left in the car for 5 hours because his dad didn’t know he was there!
That morning, around 9:30AM, the man’s wife had placed their baby at the backseat of the car for him to drop off at the babysitter’s house but there was some of miscommunication between the couple – and the man thought that she was the one who would bring the baby to the babysitter’s house.
The father then drove to his workplace some 5 kilometers away from the house and went inside the office, not knowing that the baby was left inside the car. It was only when the babysitter called some 5 hours later, asking why he hasn’t brought the baby to her house that the father realized his big mistake.
He promptly ran to his car but by then it was too late. Soaring temperatures had killed the baby; though they were still able to bring him to the hospital, the toddler was declared **** on arrival.
