For parents and parents-to-be, one of the memorable moments that they want to experience is to hear the first word or the first few syllables of their children. And at some point of their child/children’s childhood, a few mispronounced words came out adorable and are most probably one of the fun things a parent could look forward to—and as time flies, their child learns how to pronounce the word correctly, leaving the parents with the memory of the smiles they’ve had while listening to the mispronounced words.
While browsing the internet, I came across this wonderful blog for moms by Ilana Wiles– this blog’s called Mommy Shorts. The blog is filled with inspiring and fun stories from a mom’s point of view and perspective that Ilana experiences. Just recently, she posted a post that asked her readers to submit words that their children often mispronounce, and for the fun of it, here are some of the adorable and hilarious list she had:
No, not that mobsters you see on gangster movies, these are the ones you’ll find on seafood restaurants.
Baboooons! Baboons! You can find lots of ’em on parties, especially kiddie parties!
Kids probably associated their favorite food to where it’s prepared, Chicken=Kitchen!
Crowns for Crayons!
No it’s not porn, its COOOOOOOOOORN!
No, not your organs–but eating oranges is definitely good for your organs, and your whole body as well! 🙂
Salmons for almonds!
Ass-capaders on the escalators! 🙂
Zebeggi—short for Spaghetti!
Oopps! Its the Booooots!
This place is not exclusive for astronauts, you can definitely eat here, too! 🙂
So, there I hope you enjoyed Mommy Shorts’ compilation just like I had fun reading the list! 🙂 Don’t miss the latest posts of Mommy Shorts! You can find her posts here.
