5 Best Friends take the Same Picture During a 30-Year Span – Simply Amazing!

It is said that friendship is one the best treasures a person could ever find in life. If you have at least one really good friend who’s been with you through thick and thin, then you are already quite lucky.

Now, imagine having more than just one best friend – life would be truly perfect!

For 5 guys, friendship stood the test of time and they even have photographs as evidence of how they have remained friends for so long. In fact, these 5 guys have been great friends for over 30 years and have documented their friendship in a unique way: by posing together in a replica of the first photo they took in 1982.

It is possible that they don’t live close to each other anymore because it takes them 5 years to create another great shot together but it is not the number of shots that matter but the number of years they have done this over and over again.

They even managed to pose in the same manner, use similar props (a covered glass bottle and hat keeps re-appearing in the photos), and same facial expressions. Of course, there is no mistaking the span of years that it has taken, not just in the quality of the photographs but also in the faces of the teenagers who grew up as middle-aged men.

Check out the following photos below, all taken right by Copco Lake, an artificial lake on the Klamath River in Siskiyou County, California, near the Oregon border in the United States.

They are identified as John Wardlaw, Mark Rumer, Dallas Burney, John Molony, and John Dickson (from left to right). One of them owns a cottage by the lake. Although the first photo didn’t seem special, it quickly grew into a tradition when they decided to re-create the shot 5 years later.

We’re definitely looking forward to their next photo in 2017, and many more shots ahead of these wonderful group of friends.
