Despite all the traffic rules and regulations, some people still tend to break these, leading to their car getting clamped or even towed away.
Whenever this happens, we normally pay the fine or go to the government traffic agency and attend the necessary seminars to clear your name. However, one man seemed not to care at all.
On a recent post of World of Buzz, a man had his car clamped but instead of paying the fine, he instead removed the tires. He managed to take photos of what he did and post it on social media. Do you really have to?
“Did not feel like paying the clamping fine that day and would take the clamp back home for memories.”
He actually took the whole tire along with the clamp and placed it in his back seat and used a pair of slippers to make sure that the clamp won’t leave any marks on the seats.
Netizens were shocked by what the man had done and said that it was a very stupid move because this will make things worse.
This incident took place in Malaysia wherein the clamping fire is around RM100 (around $25) to RM 150 (around $38). However, what he did was considered as damaging public property; he can be fined to around RM2,000 (around $512) which is definitely more than what he should pay.
A netizen expressed his thoughts saying “I’ve seen lot of cars that get clamped by the authorities and they always take photos of the car first. Within a certain period, if the summon or unlocking process hasn’t been done, they will invite the driver to the court to surrender. So don’t think you are being a hero by removing the lock. Good luck.”
