Emotional Performance of Wheelchair-Bound Dancer, Receives ‘Golden Buzzer’ on Pilipinas Got Talent

A lot of us do not really have a talent for dancing – even if we have complete limbs but there are those who can’t move their legs but still manage to dance so gracefully that it would take your breath away.

Meet Julius Obrero, a wheelchair-bound contestant on Pilipinas Got Talent. He and his partner, Rhea Marquez, wowed the audience and the judges of the talent show as they performed a dramatic dance.

It was amazing to see them dance so beautifully, especially considering that Julius was limited to the confines of his wheelchair. Despite being on the wheelchair, however, he managed to still lead the dance and carry Rhea around that if the camera had been angled cleverly, you wouldn’t even think he was on a wheelchair at all!

The performance was so emotional and beautiful that the judges had tears in their eyes, even tough guy Robin Padilla.

As the dancers twirled around, you could see how amazed everyone was of their performance. The judges, except Angel Locsin, gave the duo a standing ovation but everyone would soon realize that Angel did not stand for the couple because she was too awed by what they had done. Instead, she gave them the ‘golden buzzer’!

The golden buzzer is much coveted on the show as this allows the performers to advance to the live semi-finals without going through the rigorous process of eliminations in the coming weeks.
