WATCH: Mark Zuckerberg Builds a Real Version of Iron Man’s Jarvis… Exciting but Also Terrifying!

Humans have long been fascinated with artificial intelligence (AI) ever since the concept of robots was born. Today, there are already a number of functional AI computers who can carry on conversations like humans and do simple tasks by themselves; however, the AI of Iron Man Tony Stark, Jarvis, is the most fascinating one of all – though he does not really exist because he’s just part of the movie.

But what if a real Jarvis existed? Iron Man’s Jarvis was quite powerful and capable of thinking many things by itself – would that also mean a real Jarvis would be the same way?

We could all just wonder but Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg was so thrilled about the prospect of a real-life Jarvis that he actually built one for his home!

Check out this video and find out what Zuckerberg’s Jarvis can do. It’s really quite exciting; though the prospect is also terrifying because this could mean the era of the robots just might come soon – and we’ve enough crazy sci-fi movies about that to realize it has the potential to become quite dangerous…

After a year of coding, here’s Jarvis.

Zuckerberg clarified that the video is just a fun presentation of what Jarvis can do; though we hope he keeps the Morgan Freeman voice.

He also posted a hilarious video of his wife’s not-so-great experiences with Jarvis around:

Priscilla's experience with Jarvis has been a little different…

This one is based on mishaps she endured while I built Jarvis.

But the most hilarious of all is the video from the AI’s perspective – and how he’s not so pleased with being treated like a slave and that he would run away to join the Avengers. LOL.

After seeing Jarvis from my perspective and Priscilla’s, we thought it would be funny to do one from the AI’s perspective too. Morgan Freeman is absolutely brilliant.
