Mom Who Died of Cancer Leaves Hilarious but Touching Letter for Her Family and Friends

While we might expect someone who is dying of cancer to be bitter about the whole ordeal, there are those who still manage to find humor and positivity in their condition, no matter how difficult that might be.

Heather McManamy was one of these positive people. At 36 years old, she still had a full life ahead with her husband and daughter, Brianna, but cancer snuffed that away.

Still, Heather refused to let cancer take everything from her. If cancer is taking away her strength and her body, at least it was not going to leave with her good humor and wit.

So, she penned a rather hilarious but touching letter addressed to her family and friends. This note was posted by her husband after she passed away.

There are a lot of funny points in the epistle, including Heather asking her friends to run a tab for her at the bar after attending her funeral so they could have a party of some sort. There were, of course, some serious notes on her letter; such as when she implored everyone not to tell Brianna that she’s in heaven!
