OFW Left Bruised by Boy She Took Care of for 11 Years, Cries in Disbelief

An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who has been working for 11 years at the same household in Kuwait was left bruised by the boy she had taken care of in those many years…

Jessielyn Necesito Espanola was in tears over her experience but was more hurt at how this was done by the boy she raised. She could not believe that he would do such a thing, especially considering how she had spent those many years caring for him and protecting him, treating him like her own child.

The 49-year-old OFW from M’lang, North Cotabato had to seek help from the family driver to bring a handwritten note to her cousin, Rylee Angel Necor Necesito, who also works in Kuwait.

Necesito posted about Espanola’s plight on her Facebook page, sharing the letter and explaining that there were no photos shared yet because her cousin’s employer took her phone.

Thankfully, the post went viral and would soon reach people who were able to notify the authorities. Through the Kuwaiti authorities and Philippine Embassy, Espanola was taken from her heartless employers last June 17.

In an interview with the press, Espanola explained that her employer’s son kept on asking her to return a lost necklace he believed she took, but the OFW denied this and kept explaining that she would do no such thing. The young man would not believer her. He left her black and blue as he continued to make her return the necklace, but because she didn’t have the item, there was nothing for her to return.

He took her phone and told her he would not mind sending her to the Philippines in a box, leading the OFW to fear for her life and seek help from her cousin. It was a good thing she was saved before anything worse could happen…
