Ohio Police Receives 911 Call from a Man Being Followed by a Pig

At the strike of dawn on Saturday, police officers from the North Ridgeville, Ohio, received a call from a man who claimed that a pig has been following him while he was walking home from the Amtrak train station in Elyria; he does not know what to do.

It was indeed a strange call, and the police believe that the caller, probably, came from a bar and has been drunk. They thought that the man was hallucinating, but they responded anyway. It turned out that they were wrong and the man’s plea for help was legitimate.

The man was sober walking home from the train station, not from a bar — and he was, indeed, being followed by a pig!

The police were able to capture the pig and it was taken inside the police cruiser. It was then brought to the city’s dog kennel, where it stayed for the meantime. Later that day, its owner came and took the pig home. Police did not reveal the identity of the pig’s owner.

The police uploaded on Facebook an image of the pig inside the police cruiser. As of this writing, the post was shared 15,000 times and received more than 22,000 reactions.
