Proud Mommy Receives Letter Demanding She Stop ‘Oversharing’ Baby Updates on Facebook

Sick and tired of reading Facebook posts from proud parents about their baby’s every milestone, every new outfit, every new tricks, and every new whatever? Well, Facebook has “ Unfollow” or “Unfriend” buttons for you to click!

That works a lot for many people but there’s a woman in Australia who got so fed up with constant updates from her friend, Jade Ruthven, that she wrote her a scathing poison letter demanding she stop. She softens the blow by saying she and the other women she talked to love Jade and absolutely adore her baby, Addison, but they are getting irritated with her post.

The letter also delivered a shocking blow, telling Jade that the letter-writer [who did not sign her name, by the way] and their other friends wish she would already get back to work so she would not have much time to be on Facebook, anymore. Well, that one is a blow below the belt!

Here’s the letter:

The bewildered mom had no idea who sent the poison letter because none of her friends admitted to sending it but she said she and her husband felt angry about it. Still, according to Jade, she feels more loved and supported than ever and the attempt to shame and isolate her has ‘backfired’.

She will continue posting baby updates on Facebook…
