Google Earth has become one of the most useful tools on the web for finding geographic information about a certain place. It is a virtual map of the globe using several imaging techniques to achieve its final appearance.
It uses geographic information system (GIS) 3D globe, aerial photography, and satellite imagery to create superimposed images so that viewers can easily process the information. Advanced technology also enables users to simply enter the coordinates of a place they want to check out and the map zooms in on that particular spot – perfect for spying, eh?
Of course, there’s bound to be some crazily amazing stuff hidden across the globe that would appear on Google Earth if these are large enough to be recognizable.
Here’s a list of some of the unbelievably amazing finds on Google Earth – complete with coordinates so you could go and check them out for yourself.
