‘The Voice’ Contestant is So Good that Adam Levine Joins Him on Stage

American reality television singing competition ‘The Voice’ has just started its Season 11 with awesome blind auditions from very talented contestants – and most of them were so good that all four coaches turned their chairs, many as early as a few seconds into the song!

One of these extra talented contestants was 16-year-old Riley Elmore who captured the attention of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton within seconds of his performance. The teen sang a soulful rendition of Frank Sinatra‘s “The Way You Look Tonight”.

Adam started his pitch saying, “There’s a soft spot in my heart for that song. I sing that song like once a week. This music is important to you, I felt that. I also heard your youth and inexperience, which made me even more excited, because then I thought to myself, ‘Oh man, I can teach this guy a lot of stuff!’ There were moments that it was brilliant and I want to make every moment brilliant.

But Adam was not only very impressed with Riley’s performance, he was also quite desperate to get the teen on his team that he joins the youngster on stage for an impromptu performance that saw the teen excitedly gesturing to his family as if to say that he just couldn’t believe he was doing a duet with one of the biggest stars in the music industry!

The performance was quite impressive even if they didn’t rehearse it – and the chemistry was palpable between the two, so much that Blake gave up trying to really convince the teen to get on his team or even take a shot at Adam’s clear move to get the teen choose him as coach…
