Whether you are a dog owner or not, I’m pretty sure most of us couldn’t resist dogs. Their fluffiness and cuteness are just too much to handle. I personally love whenever I walk my dogs in the park or just let them play outside, I can feel like they are in doggie heaven. Some owners even treat their dogs like royalty by giving them the best life that they could offer.
But in the case of the owner of these two 1-year-old Siberian husky puppies, they seemed to be treated differently.
Mona Ahmed, manager of Woodward Dog Park in Fresno, California, received a phone call saying that a woman found two Siberian husky puppies who seemed to be abandoned. This woman also found a box filled with dog food, feeding bowls, and toys. There is also a note inside the box.
“Our names are Jada (black) and Layla (brown). We are nice 1-year-old dogs. Please don’t split us up. Layla gets scared without her sister.”
Mona hurriedly went there and looked for Layla and Jada who were looking sad and confused. The bystanders told her that they were already at the park at 5 o’clock – it was approximately 3 hours since they arrived in there.
According to The Dodo, a person said that he saw a woman leave the huskies behind and told them that she is going to the car and will be right back that’s why nobody paid attention. Unfortunately, he cannot give other information as to who that person was.
Mona was really grateful that someone alerted her because if these poor puppies were left there overnight, they could have been hurt. She took Jada and Layla under her care and placed them in a secure foster home.
“This is not how you give a dog away, all you have to do is ask for help,” said Mona.
